The Beach and
Best Friend Forever

Our story began during summer break of 2019 at The University of Queensland, Brisbane - Australia.

Introduced by a mutual friend, Adam joined us on a memorable beach trip to Noosa Head Beach, where seven of us drove 150 km, bonding over conversations and Yiruma's music. 

Little did we know that this laid the foundation for a special connection, as our friendship blossomed from those initial group encounters into something uniquely ours. Our friendship deepened through shared experiences, including watching fireworks at Brisbane River, grocery shopping, cycling in the park, and late-night strolls on our beautiful campus.

Then COVID-19 hit, where travel in and out Australia was severely restricted that throwed us into a solitary apartment in Brisbane; made us stay distanced, even miles from family and friends. We made phone calls every day, keeping each other company and sane, whispered dreams of a time when borders wouldn't separate us. We vented, anxious, laughed, and supported one another. We knew, that wasn't just a lockdown; it was a crucible, forging our relationship stronger than any obstacle. In the summer 2020, we graduated and returned to Indonesia. We remained best friends forever, enjoyed each other’s company, and we are inseparable ever since!
